As summer approaches, c-stores are freshening up their menus with limited-time offers and new additions.
Here are some notable c-store food and beverage launches from the past month.
Royal Farms adds sub line
Royal Farms, best known for its fried chicken, is now offering that signature item in sub form, according to a company announcement.
Customers can select from eight options: ROFO Buffalo, with pepper jack cheese and fried onions; Smokey BBQ with pickles and shredded cheese; Bacon Rancher, which includes shredded cheese, bacon and ranch dressing; Chesapeake Chicken, which includes Royal Farms’ Chesapeake sauce; Cordon Bleu Bird with ham and melted swiss; Melty Marinera with provolone cheese and fried onions; Foghorn Club, topped with mayo, bacon and American cheese; and the build-your-own Custom Clucker.
The subs can also be made with classic, grilled or spicy chicken.
QuickChek adds chill new flavors
QuickChek’s latest menu refresh includes a variety of cold or frozen fruity drinks, as well as a $4.99 line of subs and sandwiches.
On the beverage side, customers can now get piña, mango and strawberry colada smoothies, according to a press release. Lovers of Nerds candy can also get a cookie or milkshake using the small, sugary treats.
The company’s website also shows three new “citrus sunshine” smoothies as well as Frozen Piña Colada Lemonades, which can include mango or strawberry bursting boba.
Additionally, QuickChek has unveiled a line of what it calls “subwiches.” These sandwiches are built on fresh baked bread and include varieties like caprese, chicken parm with vodka sauce and roasted chicken green goddess.
Four of these subwiches, as well as eight six-inch subs, make up the company’s new $4.99 value menu.

Sprint Mart’s Sadie’s Diner debuts ice cream
About a year and a half after Sprint Mart debuted Sadie’s Diner , the company has added a full ice cream menu to the offering, according to a LinkedIn post.
In addition to eight core flavors like vanilla, chocolate, Moose Tracks and cookies and cream, there are also kid-friendly flavors like cotton candy and birthday cake, alongside sherbert and sugar-free vanilla.
Customers can also choose to turn their ice cream flavor of choice into an ice cream sandwich with one of six cookie varieties.
The menu also includes six sundaes, like hot fudge and a birthday sundae, as well as an option to build your own.
Wawa adds two new flavors to beverage lineup
Wawa has added pineapple and watermelon flavors to its beverage lineup as summer approaches, according to a company announcement. Customers can try the new flavors in Wawa’s smoothies, refreshers, recharger energy drinks and lemonades.
The retailer also added sour cherry flavor popping boba, which can be mixed into any Wawa drinks.

7-Eleven releases array of Slurpee-related items
The Slurpee is one of 7-Eleven’s most iconic products, and the retailer has leveraged that in three ways over the past month, according to various press releases.
As part of its ongoing collaboration with band Green Day, 7-Eleven released a new Slurpee variety, Kerplunk Kandy Grape, which includes cotton candy and grape flavors.
Slurpee also served as the inspiration for one of three new Replenish hydration beverages. The Slurpee Mix-Up cherry and blue raspberry flavor blends the two popular Slurpee flavors into one. While that will only be available through Sept. 10, 7-Eleven is also adding a permanent strawberry watermelon flavor in regular and zero sugar varieties.
For customers who don’t want to drink their Slurpee, the retailer has also partnered with Blue Diamond to release limited-time cherry Slurpee almonds. The nuts can be found at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations across the U.S.
It wasn’t all Slurpee’s however. Raise the Roost chicken and Biscuits, one of 7-Eleven’s proprietary QSRs, also added a spicy version of its signature chicken.
Rutters debuts new milk, beer flavors
Rutter’s continues to explore the beverage space with two different offerings, according to company Facebook posts.
The Pennsylvania retailer released the latest in its line of seasonal private label beers recently with Rainy Daze, in conjunction with Rusty Rail Brewery. The drink is a hazy IPA with a berry aroma and flavor.
For a softer drink, Rutter’s also released Purple Moo, a limited-time purple-colored vanilla milk drink.
Minuteman makes menu modifications
Minuteman Food Mart, which operates about 60 stores in the Carolinas, added new items to its lineup, as well as rolling out a value menu, according to multiple press releases from the company.
For a limited time, Minuteman has re-added the bologna, egg and cheese sandwich to its lineup. It has also made the breakfast burger — which includes a burger patty, melted cheese, hash browns, bacon and egg on a hamburger bun — a permanent menu item. Both are available at the 35 Minuteman locations with a Minuteman Kitchen.
The breakfast burger is also part of Minuteman’s new value menu, which has items at the $4, $5 and $6 price points. Other items on the menu include chicken tenders, hot dogs, sandwiches and cold case items.
These deals are available at all stores with a Minuteman Kitchen as well as select non-kitchen stores. The special pricing is available exclusively through the company’s recently refreshed mobile app.

The pizza will be available through the summer.
