The beginning of the year brought multiple changes across the c-store leadership landscape.
The industry said goodbye to two titans: Carl Bolch Jr., chairman emeritus and former CEO of RaceTrac, who passed away in late December, and Stephen G. “Steve” Sheetz, former president, CEO and chairman of Pennsylvania-based Sheetz, who passed away in early January.
A couple retailers lost high-ranking leaders. We break down notable departures from Alimentation Couche-Tard and 7-Eleven in the roundup below, but January also saw H&S Energy’s longtime Chief Financial Officer Moe Haris leave. Shell also announced it’s parting ways with Robin Mooldijk, president of projects and technology, in February.
Oxxo USA, Chestnut Market and Holiday Oil all made changes at the top during the past month, while other retailers saw shifts in major foodservice, marketing, tech and operations roles.
