Dive Insight:
Pilot is in the process of modernizing its brand across its stores and digital properties. A year ago, it opened its largest new build at the time, a 20,000-square-foot location in Stanton, Tennessee, with a bright red storefront that reflected its “new brand standards.”
With the mobile update, Pilot said it’s entering the “next phase of building a unified and consistent brand.”
Knoxville, Tennessee-based Pilot also revamped its website and built out its digital capabilities in mid-2025 with the addition of online ordering.
“Together with mobile ordering and our redesigned website, we’re connecting the dots across the entire digital experience so drivers can plan ahead, save time and enjoy more rewarding stops with Pilot,” said Kari Irons, vice president of marketing and brand at Pilot.
Drivers who use the Pilot app can switch between personal and professional mobile offerings with a press of a button instead of having to maintain two separate accounts. The updated interface also loads faster and features improved security, according to the announcement.
