And after the proven success bringing freeze-dried to SKITTLES®, Mars is bringing this new format into chocolate with M&M’S® POP’d Caramel, the brand’s first freeze-dried candy. It delivers the classic caramel flavor fans love in a light, crispy and airy texture for a fun new way to snack.
Another texture that continues to gain momentum is gummies. The chewy, squishy treats lean into Gen Z and Millennial’s love for playful formats. By bringing new shapes to gummy textures, like with LIFE SAVERS® X’s & O’s, Mars is leaning into a classic game and a quest for fun – all with a twist on flavors like watermelon, blue raspberry, lime, pink punch, and grape.

Consumers are gravitating to punchy flavors, driven by demand from Gen Z and Millennials. Innovations like new SKITTLES® Gummies Fuego lean into the growing interest for “swicy” (sweet and spicy) treats. Mars tapped into its global network to get the right ratio of spicy and sweet to combine fan-favorite SKITTLES® flavors with the perfect amount of heat.
