As the calendar moves fully into the holiday season, convenience retailers are busy making moves at the top of their organizations. Three different retailers made c-suite changes last month while a few other big names made notable VP-level appointments.
Below are the top c-store executive moves from November. And here’s our roundup from October in case you missed it.
TA taps Dollar Tree exec as CEO
TravelCenters of America hired Jason Nordin as its new CEO. He replaced Debbi Boffa, who stepped down from the role in mid-October.

Nordin joined TA from discount retailer Dollar Tree, where he held multiple roles, including president of its Family Dollar brand for the past year.
Nordin also spent 12 years with Pilot Company — one of TA’s biggest competitors — including six years as chief operating officer.
He joined TA amid the company’s “targeted business improvement plan” to contend with “continued margin pressure,” CFO Kate Thompson said during BP’s third-quarter earnings presentation in early November.
RaceTrac welcomes first CIO
RaceTrac named Ameet Shetty as its first-ever chief information officer.

Shetty joined the company from financial services firm Equifax, where he had been chief data officer since 2024. He also spent three years as CIO for Pilot, where he led enterprise data strategy and data engineering and oversaw the modernization of its IT infrastructure.
This move comes about three months after RaceTrac revealed it would add the CIO role. Longtime Vice President of IT John Lukas, who oversaw RaceTrac’s technology infrastructure and spearheaded the revamp of its loyalty app and back-end marketing systems, is retiring at the end of the year.
