Brad Anderson, who was overseeing Pilot Company’s 900-plus travel centers as president of retail until last month, has been named CEO of Classic Collision, effective June 2, the auto repair chain announced this week.
Anderson had been one of Pilot’s most familiar faces in recent years, having become president of retail less than a year ago after spending two years as the company’s chief operating officer. News of his departure from the company came last month when Pilot announced former Senior Vice President Of Food And Beverage Sean Marrero as his successor. At the time of his exit, a Pilot spokesperson said Anderson was leaving to pursue an external opportunity.
Anderson joined Pilot in 2019 in the company’s field operations department and became a division vice president in 2020, according to his LinkedIn bio. The travel center chain named him zone vice president in 2021 and senior vice president of operations in March 2023 before naming him COO that September.

In a LinkedIn announcement detailing his new position, Anderson thanked Pilot for the past seven years.
“It has been an incredible experience to be part of such a talented team and strong culture,” Anderson said. “I’m grateful for the relationships, lessons, and accomplishments we shared together, and especially thankful to all of the team members whose dedication and commitment made that journey so rewarding.”
Anderson will now take the helm at Classic Collision, which has repair shops across 20 states, according to its website. He succeeds Toan Nguyen, who is transitioning to the company’s board of directors after seven years as CEO.
“Brad’s extensive experience leading and operating nationwide organizations focused on safe travel, strong customer experiences, and high-performing teams makes him an excellent fit to lead Classic Collision,” said Mark Fields, chairman of Classic’s board of directors.
