NACS has named Annie Gauthier, co-CEO and chief financial officer of St. Romain Oil, as its 2025-2026 chairperson of the board, replacing outgoing leader Brian Hannasch, the association announced on Wednesday.
Gauthier was voted in at the NACS board of directors meeting during the association’s annual showcase in Chicago and was officially introduced during the general session on Wednesday. In her role, she’ll lead the NACS’s executive committee, which provides strategic direction and financial oversight to the association. Gauthier will also lead the NACS Political Engagement Committee, the association said.
Gauthier joined her family’s business, St. Romain Oil — parent of the Y-Not Stop c-store chain in central Louisiana — in 2005 as a human resources director and bookkeeper, according to her LinkedIn bio. She succeeded her mother as CFO in 2014, and became co-CEO of the 15-location chain when she and her brothers purchased it in 2016.
She began working with NACS in 2017 as a member of its convention content committee and was elected to the board of directors the following year. She chaired NACS’s convention content committee in 2019 and its retail engagement committee in 2023. She most recently served as NACS’s vice chair and treasurer while Hannasch led the association.
Gauthier has served in various leadership roles with the Louisiana Oil Marketers & Convenience Store Association, including its board chair in 2017.
