It’s been a busy year for c-store CEO shifts.
Murphy USA got things started in January, enacting a succession plan it announced in October. Multinational retailer FEMSA named a new leader of Oxxo USA later that month, and CrossAmerica Partners followed suit in March.
Regional retailers Stinker Stores, Holiday Oil and LV Petroleum also made moves at the top in the first six months of the year.
Changes weren’t just happening in the CEO role. 7-Eleven saw multiple departures at the senior vice president level and above, including the departure of Chief Marketing Officer Marissa Jarrett. RaceTrac hired its first chief people officer, Cumberland Farms hired a Murphy USA alum as its new CIO and both Maverik and Pilot hired new financial leads.
