Several key departures made headlines around the c-store industry during April.
Most prominently, Chestnut Market and CEO Ryan Oettinger parted ways after the executive spent three months in the role. Oettinger said in an email that he resigned from the role.
TravelCenters of America said goodbye to Eric DePanfilis, vice president and chief information security and infrastructure officer, after a nearly 20-year run. Elliott Collyer, who served as a growth-focused VP for Parkland Corp. and then for Sunoco after the energy giant bought Parkland in 2025, stepped down from his role. And Global Partners’ VP of development and construction, Robert Donnelly, exited the company.
It wasn’t all departures, however. Here’s more on the significant executive hirings and promotions we covered in April. And here’s our executive roundup for March, in case you missed it.
