LV Petroleum announced in 2023 plans to franchise dozens of Bojangles locations in Western states, particularly around Las Vegas, through a combination of sites inside travel centers and standalone QSRs. Three years later, the partnership is still developing.
North Carolina-based Bojangles has around 880 locations nationwide, focused mainly in the Southeast and South but also with a presence up the East Coast and a growing footprint in the Southwest. The QSR’s menu includes boneless and bone-in chicken as well as a variety of sandwiches and sides.
According to LV Petroleum’s website, the retailer already has two standalone Bojangles in Nevada and one inside a travel center in Pueblo, Colorado. The Gilbert location and new QSR in Nevada bring its total to five Bojangles.
LV Petroleum also acquired a travel center in Seminole, Oklahoma, this summer, expanding its presence in that state as it aims to grow its travel center network to 100 locations, per the announcement.
Kris Roach, president and CEO of LV Petroleum, said in the announcement that these openings reflect the strength of the company’s “diversified growth strategy.” The company currently operates 90 travel centers and 221 restaurants nationwide.
