Maverik has hired c-store industry veteran Meghann Erhart as chief commercial officer, Erhart announced via LinkedIn on Thursday.
As chief commercial officer, Erhart is responsible for accelerating Maverik’s business-to-business growth, expanding strategic partnerships and shaping its commercial roadmap, she noted in her LinkedIn bio.
Erhart joins Maverk after spending the past two years as executive vice president for popular industry technology vendor Relay Payments. Prior to that, she spent over 15 years at Pilot Company, where she held numerous roles across its supply chain, logistics, technology and commercial functions, according to her LinkedIn bio. Her last role with Pilot was vice president of business processes improvement and commercial systems.
In her announcement, Erhart said she was drawn to Maverik for its “clear purpose” and ‘bold vision.”
A spokesperson from Maverik did not respond by press time when asked to comment on Erhart’s hiring.

“Stepping into this role feels like the perfect blend of challenge, purpose, and a little bit of coming home,” Erhart said in her announcement. “Getting back into the fuel world — and doing it with a brand known as Adventure’s First Stop — brings an energy I’ve genuinely missed.”
Maverik has made several changes to its leadership team and corporate structure over the past year. Last February, the company named Brian Hyde as vice president of optimization and Steven Rupe as VP of finance. Six months later, it hired Myles Gift as VP of retail operations. In October, it dismissed its chief development officer, and two months later hired a new chief of staff.
The company’s flurry of executive shifts comes as it continues its years-long integration of Kum & Go’s nearly 400 convenience stores and hundreds of employees. Maverik officially completed all store rebrands last November.
“I’m humbled by the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of growth alongside a team that’s passionate, innovative, and unafraid to think bigger,” Erhart said. “There’s real momentum here, and I’m excited to contribute, learn, and lead in a way that honors the work already underway.”
