- Spinx has named Troy Hulehan chief of staff and executive vice president of store development, a spokesperson from the convenience retailer confirmed to C-Store Dive.
- Hulehan, who has been with the company for roughly two decades, was most recently Spinx’s EVP of real estate development, according to an announcement the South Carolina-based retailer made on LinkedIn last Wednesday and as confirmed by the spokesperson.
- Hulehan’s promotion comes as Spinx begins to update the point of sale touchpoints in all of its stores across the Carolinas

In his new role, Hulehan will focus on increasing organizational effectiveness by streamlining communication, managing key priorities and unifying business commitments, the retailer said in its announcement.
“In his new, expanded capacity, Troy will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, focusing on driving strategic execution, enterprise-level coordination, and cross-business alignment,” the company said in its LinkedIn post.
Spinx, which has more than 90 stores across the Carolinas, debuted a food-focused alternative format store, Spinx Market & Eatery, in Greenville in 2024. The site offers made-to-order flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and bakery items, as well as grocery items and Spinx’s popular fried chicken. So far, the company has only opened one location in that format.
The retailer is also slated to add new POS touchpoints from Tote.ai to all of its sites through spring 2027, as well as bring its ordering, checkout and kitchen technology onto one system.
