Dive Insight:
Fast Lane’s partnership with Lula allows the retailer to centralize delivery orders from both first- and third-party sources in a single platform, as well as manage its menus to keep availability and pricing consistent. Lula’s technology also handles uptime monitoring, refund disputes and performance monitoring, giving Fast Lane more flexibility to move faster while keeping store workers focused on serving customers.
"Convenience retailers who have deep roots in their communities are perfectly positioned to win in digital ordering, and Fast Lane is a great example of that," said Adit Gupta, co-founder and CEO at Lula Commerce.
Fast Lane, which has stores in Michigan and Indiana, offers a variety of hot, cold and frozen drinks, as well as fresh sandwiches, baked goods and convenience store fare, according to the company website.
"Fast Lane has always been focused on making it easy for customers to get what they need, when they need it," said Kraig Elliott, president of Fast Lane Convenience Stores. "Partnering with Lula lets us expand that convenience beyond our four walls, with delivery through the major marketplaces and a Fast Lane-owned ordering experience through Lula Direct."
