Dive Brief:
- Parker’s Kitchen co-CEO Brandon Hofmann has left the convenience retailer, a company spokesperson confirmed to C-Store Dive.
- Hofmann’s last day with Parker’s was Sept. 4, according to the spokesperson, who noted Hofmann left the company “to pursue other opportunities.”
- John Rudolfs, who joined Hofmann as co-CEO in September 2025, now serves as Parker’s sole chief executive officer, the spokesperson said.
Dive Insight:
Hofmann’s nearly three-decade career with Parker’s came to an end with his recent departure. He joined the company in 1997 as a third-shift customer service representative and rose through the ranks over the following years, taking on such roles as chief operating officer, chief marketing officer and president.
Hofmann became Parker’s second-ever CEO in March 2025, when founder Greg Parker transitioned to executive chairman after nearly 50 years at the helm. Hofmann initially served as the company’s sole CEO before Parker’s promoted then-president and CFO John Rudolfs to co-CEO in September 2025.
In a statement to C-Store Dive, Greg Parker said Hofmann “made an indelible impact on Parker’s Kitchen over the past 30 years.”
“He’s been the architect behind our innovative store designs, the genius behind our best-in-class retail experience and the creative mind behind many of our award-winning marketing campaigns,” Parker said. “We are incredibly grateful for his contributions to Parker’s Kitchen and are wishing him every success in the future.”
Hofmann did not respond by press time when asked to comment on his exit.

It’s unclear how Hofmann’s departure will impact Parker’s, which is in the midst of an ambitious plan to double its store count by the end of the decade.
During a panel discussion at last October’s NACS Show, Tom Rutledge, Parker’s senior director of construction, said the company intended to open between 20 and 25 c-stores annually over the next five years. If those plans come to fruition, Parker’s could reach well over 200 convenience stores by the end of the decade, further cementing itself as a significant competitive threat in the Southeast.
Parker’s currently operates 111 convenience stores, according to its spokesperson.
