Dive Insight:
Founded in the late 1990s, US Market is in the thick of arguably its biggest growth spree in company history. Since the beginning of last year, the 62-location company has opened at least 15 new stores, launched its mobile app, debuted a new headquarters, introduced its first QSR franchise in Cinnabon, and begun testing its own branded fuel canopy.
That growth will soon include the launch of US Market Rewards, which will be accessible through US Market’s mobile app, according to the announcement. An image of the mobile app on Google Play store shows the rewards program will include an in-app wallet and points tracker.
Representatives from US Market did not respond by press time when asked to share more details of its upcoming rewards platform.
US Market is one of several regional convenience retailers that have either launched or revamped their rewards programs so far this year. Others have included Coen Markets, RaceTrac, Sprint Mart, Stinker Stores, Parker’s Kitchen and Refuel Operating Co.
