Few midsize convenience retailers have had as busy of a 2026 as LV Petroleum.
The Las Vegas-based retailer, which primarily operates TravelCenters of America truck stops, is in the midst of a significant expansion fueled by multisite acquisitions and a growing QSR portfolio that includes chains like Bojangles, Subway, Sbarro, Dunkin’, Black Bear Diner, KFC and A&W. LV has also reshaped its leadership team this year by appointing a new CEO, multiple vice presidents and a board chair.
LV’s momentum continued into last week, when the company announced that it acquired a site in Arkansas and opened a Bojangles inside the LINQ hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. On Oct. 6, the company celebrated the opening of its new Southern Nevada headquarters. The facility includes a training and culinary innovation center to support employee development and LV’s foodservice operations, along with a Starbucks that’s open to the public.
All of these moves support the company’s broader plan to reach 140 sites by the end of 2027. If achieved, LV will have grown its network by over 30% in just over a year — an uncommonly large jump for a midsize convenience retailer.
Here’s a recap of some of LV’s most notable moves this year.
